Hi,

I lived on land with harbored tons of poison ivy. I tried to rid my acres of that nasty stuff every year. It never would go away completely, just die back. A landscaper friend told me to orally take Rhus Tox to develop an immunity to the poison ivy's oil, something my dogs would track into the house often. It worked over time! I would buy liquid or pills at a local health food stores. I now do not get those heaping blisters of nasty yuckiness which would spread all over and leave me feeling like a leper. Hope this info helps.

Love your wok! HUGE.

The country spinner is really nice once you get the hang of it. My Lendrum is still the best for fine yarns that need a lot of control, but I love the huge bobbin on the spinner. Just wish it had better tension control when winding off...the bobbin just keeps going and pretty soon there's yarn everywhere! I really loved spinning the Wensleydale Cross. The sheep is Tristan. I almost didn't buy him because he was a Lincoln cross and I really don't like Lincoln much and he didn't have those little pincurls. But the breeder insisted, and he was really cute so I took him. Lucky me! His fiber is just so fun and you just want to keep running your fingers through it. It's addicting!

So glad to finally get my hands on some of that Wensleydale!! Thanks for selling some of it. And thanks for the tutorial. That's sort of how I spin locks, depending on the effect I want to get. I was excited to see that you're spinning them on your country spinner. I finally got mine this spring and have only used it a little to test it out. I just may spin a whole 8oz of Wensleydale on it that way. Right now I've been working on consistency in bulky yarns so I could make some consistent standard yarns to work on bigger projects. Practice, practice...

Can I please get contact information on Martin? I'm possibly helping a friend looking for a sheep shearer. I'm not sure what part of Indiana Martin is in but I am also in Indiana. Northwest Indiana.
